Cold Noodles and Hot Yoga

Cold Korean noodles come to mind whenever the temperature reaches near triple digits... and Yu Chun has the best imo. Look at all the food we got, mmm, yummy. The broth was chilled, light, slightly sweet, slightly sour, delightful. And those enormous Kimchee dumplings! So good. Later, I went for yoga for the first time in my life... didn't know I was that flexible, I did like a triple pretzel... must be the Chinese acrobat gene in me.

Mirage...

K, I've shed a few pretty tears... now time to go back to work! Anyhoo, I've actually got a little naughty project brewing on the side, maybe I'll update you soon... I am looking forward to it and saving up vacation days for it... hehehe, evil laughs! Oh yeah, it's been so hot here lately, I think I saw a mirage of this at work today... cool sea breeze...

Eh, been feeling kind of like this lately... I need a muse to inspire me! Life is hard for a boy-ish girl cat like me, maybe I am being weeded out by evolution. Oh well.

Historic Ellicott City

Introducing our newest correspondent -- Ms. Belle! K, here are a few pictures she took in Ellicott City, Maryland. It's one of those picturesque, quaint little faux New England towns... I used to go there a lot when I was a kitteh... sniff sniff, when I was still carefree, and didn't have to work so hard for food... wahhhhh! *kleenex blowing nose* Anyhoo, here is an antique store... so different from the west coast, very understated and sophisticated, just like yours truly (k, reminder to self, need to be more modest:-).

Yeah, in Maryland, a state far far away, the mushrooms look like this! People sometimes drop dead just from looking at these colorful but venomous things! See the daffodils about to bloom?

Phew...

So busy! Here is a bowl of Ramen noodles from Chabuya to satisfy my HUGE appetite...seems like my brain needs a TON of energy from all the thinking I have to do. Kekeke, I am so deep and so smart :-P

What do you get when you throw five Asian chicks (including one birthday chickie) and all this food and Karoake together? Asian Girls Gone Wild! Woohoo, Happy Bday H! BTW, our karoake lineup was: Baby Baby One More Time, WannaBe by the Spice Girls, Gangsta's Paradise, Lady Marmalade... Imagine five Asian women singing in unison: Keep spending most our lives, Living in a gangsta's paradise, Keeep spending most our lives, Living in a gangsta's paradise... :-)
