The Lab

The Lab is an interesting dining/shopping area in Costa Mesa...When you drive into the area, it looks like a wearhouse turned chic trendy new age-y shopping mall... here is the fireplace/fountain area... the water runs off from the vintage barrels and people can sit around the fire pit to chic chat.
Here is what we had... paellla, with the special lighting from blackberry, it looks positively heavenly.

You were in OC and didn't tell me!? Where did you eat? Habana? The Camp, another chic shopping center is just across the street and has some good restaurants too. -jo

I think jo took me and S to The Camp last year for brunch. It was so delicious.

Ya Old Vine is a great place to eat and drink. I took S to Native Foods a few weeks ago for lunch too and we were both happy. - jo

hehe, I mean to say "Ya, the Old Vine cafe" is a great place to eat. Missing a comma there. The Camp is the name of the shopping/dining center where Old Vine is located. - jo

LOL, I think Ya Old Vine sounds better.
