Luxury Goods Shopping in HK

Lots, lots of designer stores in Hong Kong:

Here we have Chanel...

and Bvlgari (or is it pronounced BEE-VUUUL-Gari, hmmm, maybe we should try to be Euro chic too and call ourselves the V.S.A.).

See the Louis of Louis Vuitton on the right, oh yeah, Tiffany is apparently Louis' neighbor.

Prada, which is across the street from my hotel, I can see it right now from my window, to give you an idea how small this place is, all these stores are either right next to my hotel, or in the same building as the hotel... it's like a designer ambush, I can't get away... better clutch my wallet tightly... otherwise, I might just give in to the temptation...

And when I do end up visiting designer stores, it usually goes something like this:

Cat: What?! That thing costs over $1,000 bucks?!
Sales Clerk: Eye roll, this is not the local Kwik-E-Mart, you know...
Cat and Sales Clerk: give each other the evil eye...
Cat: walks straight to the discount section, flips a few racks, and goes out and gets a treat and a cold drink...

Hehe, I got mango with coconut milk, yum yum...it's so nice to take a break from shopping, hiding in a corner away from the sea of humanity and the sea of humidity, it was like 90 degrees, 200% humidity here...

But alas, I must persevere, so I bravely marched onto the next shopping destination!
